1974 - It is created “Taller Industrial Metalúrgico Antonio, C.A” in the city of Puerto Ordaz, provisionally located in the Industrial Zone Matanza, next to the Company ECA.
1977 - CVG grants TIMACA the purchase of two lots in the industrial zone of UNARE II, in front of the airport in Neverí Street, where it builds its first production shed of the company with very basic but functional facilities that will allow it to take its first steps. His most important works during that period were the manufacture of tilting furnace for the casting of aluminum and barges for mines in Las Claritas for the mining company HECLA of Venezuela.
1989 - TIMACA Crane service line is incorporated, represented by the subsidiary company ECO, CA, with which a fleet of telescopic cranes with capacities from 20 tons to 150 tons is formed in order to support the projects of industrial assembly and plant maintenance, as well as offer to the market hoister services and specialized transportation.
1993 - Juan Carlos Caiazza joined the company as Materials Engineer in Metalworking and manufacturing processes, with the vision of expanding the company's field of work toward the areas of assembly and industrial maintenance, which allowed the establishment of a powerful synergy that strengthened the presence of TIMACA in the area allowing it to grow steadily over time, positioning TIMACA as a reliable company for all plants in the industrial zone.
1999 - TIMACA´s new facilities are inaugurated in the Matanzas industrial zone, next to the Orinoco Metalworking Company (formerly DSD), with the aim of boosting the company's development and adjusting it to the new regulations, standards and needs of the market. From there, its most important work has been Construction of the Proppants plant, Partial construction of the CTE Cachamay along with the Mexican Company ICA, among others.
2010 - Assuming new challenges, TIMACA Hydro service line is created, aimed to provide electromechanical assembly service specialized in the area of rehabilitation of hydroelectric plants. Its flagship project was the rehabilitation of five generating units of Machine House I of the Antonio José de Sucre Hydroelectric Complex (MACAGUA). In that same year, the line of Preparation and Rehabilitation and Surface Coating was added to the services portfolio of the company, applying surface cleaning techniques such as Sandblasting, Waterblasting, Waterjetting, shot blasting, and application of surface finishes according to regulations, practices and procedures International, NACE, among others.
2014 - Firm in our vision of expansion, participation in new markets and reliance in the country´s development and future, a new line in the portfolio is created, TIMACA Briquett, represented by the subsidiary company SMB, C.A., aimed to offer maintenance services to briquetting plants and this way meet the local briquetting holding demands: Ferrominera, Briqven, Comsigua, Venprecar and Orinoco Iron. This certified service line is created in strategic partnership with the company SODALIS, which is one of the main suppliers of technology, equipment, spare parts and services for the briquette industry.
